Our journey was way outside the healthcare box: we were either going to be crazy or brilliant, but we knew healthcare had to evolve, and we were willing to trail-blaze. We passionately blended our viewpoints as patients ourselves, with the drive as practice leaders to strategically grow our business. Through this evolution, we surprised even ourselves! We grew like crazy, changed lives, loved what we did, and THAT story is what we're excited to share.

As patients ourselves,

we intimately understand (and are obsessed with) the patient experience from
both sides: patient and practice.

What if we used social media differently? What if we tried what was working outside of healthcare? We invested research, budget, time, and energy into translating social media strategies into premium healthcare to see what would stick.

 

It worked, generating over two million per year in cash pay revenue. It was all about understanding people, our potential patients. It wasn’t about what we were trying to say, it was about them: what would stop their scroll, nurture interest into action and overcome hesitations.

Instead of focusing solely on the ‘hard’ or ‘technical’ skills of our staff, we invested in training on ‘soft skills.’ From the front desk to our doctors, our team felt empowered and more fulfilled by understanding the science behind human emotions.

 

They gained new confidence in conversions knowing that it didn’t have to feel like sales and that it was all about guiding our patients in the way that they need.

 

Patients were blown away by their experience, revenue skyrocketed, and we had a great time doing it.

​During our last year together in practice, we exceeded our goals with a 103% increase in cash pay revenue.

 

This was the culmination of our journey to make everything about people and their emotions: from our surgeons' and doctors' passion to our dedicated team (the heartbeat of patient care!) to the patients themselves and their life-changing transformations.

Our radical approach paid off, and our results caught everyone's attention. Our practice stood out in the industry, and we were asked to share our secrets to success with others on industry podcasts and global webinars. ​

We left our practice (bittersweet!) to keep up with the demand to share our knowledge with others, launching our brand in early 2022. Industry giants and vendors that we worked with and respected now came to us for consulting and input on how to better serve their global network of premium practice customers.

Our passion for our patients and our team evolved into sharing our expertise and methodologies with other practices and teams around the globe. We love supporting amazing practice owners, leaders, and  'doers' who serve patients and change lives. 

In 2024, after two years of research and development, we launched upSKILLery to extend our reach and help more people. It's the tool we needed back in our own practice that didn't exist, so we created it now, for you! It's the only online learning platform focused on the non-clinical, people side of healthcare. We bottled up everything that worked and made us successful: from protocols, to systems, to step-by-step action plans and team trainings in membership-based masterclasses, expert courses and virtual sessions.

Christine Scarlett

Lauren Weaver

Lauren began her personal branding career at the young age of 15 when she joined the world of pageantry and catalog modeling.
